Bridge repair works on the B4499 at Rea Bridge, Leigh Road.
This now requires a full 24 hour road closure for everyone’s safety.
From 20th February to 10th March fully signed diversions will be in place on the B4499 from Brockton (B4386 Junction) to Minsterley. This closure will be in place for the duration of the works.
Shropshire Council have said:
We apologise for the confusion caused by our earlier communications, but we can confirm our intentions are to close the road 24/7.
They will make every effort to allow you to access your property or business as easily and safely as possible, should it be within the closure.
If you need assistance, please speak to their onsite operatives who will be able to assist.
School buses will be escorted through in the morning and the evening.
