Enforcement pattern for Rea Bridge, Leigh:
Monday - Friday 09.30 am to 3.00 pm
This requires road closures for everyone’s safety. Between 9.30am-3pm from 7 to 24 February fully signed daytime diversions will be in place on the B4499 from Brockton (B4386 Junction) to the Shrewbury district boundary.

The work is proposed to start between the 7th to 24th February 2023 with the road closure enforce between 9.30am-3.00pm Monday to Friday.
The works will involve taking down and rebuilding the left end of the upstream and downstream parapets.
Unfortunately in order to carry out the proposed work safely it will be necessary to close the bridge to vehicular traffic.
